Sendai oak table lamp
Minimalist and refined, this handmade solid oak table lamp is a beautifully simple LED light. Designed in a modern Nordic style, but fused with ancient Japanese finesse, the light would give a warm and contemporary glow to any home.
Primarily made from FSC certified solid oak, the single cherry inset motif in the centre represents the rising sun in the Japanese city that gave this lamp it’s name. The wood is finished with natural hard wax oil to preserve the lightness of the raw oak.
The energy saving LED light is made from a continuous ribbon of COB, which gives an uninterrupted luminescence with a softer glow. It’s fitted with an integrated ‘touch’ dimmer, a simple interface which sets the light level when you release your finger.
Standing at 390mm high with a base of 131 x 120mm, and with a total cord length of 1400mm, the lamp is fitted with a USB-A plug, but also comes with a standard UK plug adapter in the box. Simply plug in to a wall socket, or even power the lamp from a laptop or separate battery pack. Low profile felt pads are fitted to the base to protect the wood from abrasive surfaces.
Each light is hand crafted to order and takes approximately 2-4 weeks to ship. No one light is the same, and each comes with its own unique and natural woodgrain.
Power input DC 5V (power adapter converts from AC 220-240V). 600 lumens of warm white light at 3000-3500K. 6 watt energy consumption.
